TOM PALENIUS
is INNOCELEX's principal consultant and has an extensive experience in medtech, laboratory diagnostics and health & wellbeing, from the early phase of the innovation path all the way to growth and internationalization.
He has worked in various positions from R&D to Business Development including M&A and international marketing. In a CEO position he created an IVD product strategy to support the growth of a tech startup, raised +3Meur VC & +1Meur R&D funding, built sales&distribution in +15 countries and developed turnover from zero to +1Meur showing increasing rate of growth.
Tom has delivered more than 100 commercialization and business development projects and helped to setup more than 20 startups. He is also experienced in VC funding, and has acted as an evaluator of EU Framework program project applications for more than 20 years – with that, he is also well familiarized with both domestic and European public funding instruments.
Tom is also an approved member at the Finnish Management Consultants Association LJK ry, and holds the certificates of CBM - Certified Board Member and CAB Certified Advisory Board Member

KAI LAHTONEN
complements INNOCELEX with his broad experience in the pharma industry both in major companies as well as startups.
He has held a number of executive and management positions in companies of various sizes, including private and public companies.
Kai is also very familiar with corporate governance, management and finance, mergers and acquisitions as well as venture capital.
