Innocelex story

INNOCELEX is an auxiliary company name of Biocelex Oy, which history dates back to 2007. Biocelex Oy was originally established to implement in Finland the acknowledged innovation process of one the co-owners, Karolinska Institutet Holding Ab.

Biocelex Oy also offered services for

• The research sector with technical & commercial evaluations, commercialization plans and early-stage funding solutions
• Life Science companies with business development, funding arrangements primarily through the Karolinska collaboration, market intelligence and scouting services
• Other Life Science interest groups with consultation as well as innovation environment studies and reports

In 2013 Biocelex Oy was merged with Turku Science Park Oy (later Business Turku Oy Ab) and terminated as an independent company. The name was however held by Turku Science Park Oy until September 2023, when the key persons behind the original Biocelex acquired the company name. The new BIOCELEX OY started as a limited liability company on September 29th 2023, together with the new auxiliary company name INNOCELEX to support broader services.
